Article Submissions for High Link Value and Organic Traffic

Much has been made recently about the need for alternative forms of SEO for gaining some organic traffic to your blog or application web site. Years ago the common form of gaining some traffic was to post a few comments on some high PR (Page Rank) blogs and instantly you got some link juice and traffic. Those days have come essentially to a close. With millions of blogs and sites added on a daily basis, those types of SEO tricks are no longer valid.

Google and the engineers that make the algorithms for search have changed the game. The one last true and tested method for gaining organic traffic and link juice is Article Submission.

It almost goes without saying that being able to write a few words about what you are working on and submitting that to multiple streams of readers is the way that natural SEO works. The proper method steps of working on an article and then submitting that should always include the list of sites that you can also place the content on. Now be certain that you need to do some work with this method. You cannot just re-post the same article over and over without getting a duplicate content hit.

Make sure to change the title and at least 10% of the article in order to make it more suitable for the type of site that you are submitting to.

Over the years I have found that what goes around comes around. Now you are thinking what does this have to do with SEO? Well let me tell you… Many years ago there was the natural thinking of when you create a worth while web site or blog you would submit the site to a few heavy traffic web directoris. That was the extnet of the SEO – the traffic would come naturaly. During the past few years a few people started blogging about PageRank and SEO and how you need Text Links to get this PR. Today was a good day. Well that is until it came to figuring out my next strategy for getting some good links coming my way. My first thought was to just find some good sites that contain topics relating to my current project. I came up to one little thing getting in my way – finding the page rank quickly. I know you all are out going to tell me to write a quick API to the google page rank code bank. Problem is I’m kind of lazy today and don’t feel like messing with the translations and math of it all. I just want a quick and dirty way to check that pesky page rank. So a quick search and I find this handy dandy tool.
